I wanted a safer way to protect my family's skin from the harsh UV rays of the sun without the use of harmful chemicals. Most natural butters have some UV protection when applied to our skin but when combined with Zinc Oxide, you get all natural, 100% chemical free, sun protection.
This is mineral sunscreen, so it applies like balm/salve. It provides a nourishing, moisturizing, protective barrier, that blocks UV rays from penetrating our skin. This blend is 20-30% SPF by weight and the active ingredient is Zinc Oxide. For a little extra benefit, I added some helpful insect repelling essential oils!
Ingredients: Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Bee's Wax, Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, Shea Butter, Red Raspberry Seed Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Tea tree, Lemongrass, & Rosemary Essential Oil
How to Use:
Take desired amount from containers and warm up between your hands. Apply to desired areas of body. Avoid contact with eyes. Reapply as needed due to sweating or water play. Remember, this is a skin barrier, so reapplication is needed if it rubs off.
